Most of Sunday was spent at the Kathmandu airport in a state of waiting. Imagine 400 volunteers, crowding into this small domestic airport and expecting flights to leave on time. Not.
The long wait was rewarded in the evening with a fine welcome program staged by Habitat Nepal and featuring Nepalese performers and musicians. Dinner and beer and and wine accompanied.
Paterson Habitat's sixteen team members are very pleased to be here and look forward to beginning the work of building our bamboo house this week. Jason, Stepanie, and Mary, below, happy to finally greet Chitan at the airport arrival.
